Users can become locked out of their Project STEM account after they have tried to enter the incorrect password or secret words too many times. Students and teachers alike can click the "Forgot your password?" link underneath the login fields to receive a reset email at their user account address. The criteria for new passwords as well as instructions on how to change the password can be found in this article.

Teachers can also unlock student accounts by clicking on the "unlock" button in the Manage Enrollment tool:

Accounts will unlock after an hour of inactivity, so if you do nothing at all, your student will be able to try to log in again after an hour.

If you have any questions about unlocking an account, feel free to reach out to us at support@projectstem.org.
